There are several different reports available to teachers for the variety of ELA products and activities that we provide. Scroll down to see a brief a summary of the reports that display individual student activity.
ELA Levels
View student beginning and current levels in Reading and Word Study as well as track growth. Through this report, teachers can manually edit student levels. This will reset data for the student.
ELA Reports Access
Access ELA reports by selecting Reports in the left navigation bar and then selecting ELA. You will be able to choose from a selection of reports that are categorized by "Individual Student Reporting," "Class Reporting," and "Additional Reporting."
Individual Reports
ELA Report Card
You will see a summary of student performance with their Freckle level and word study level. If you select View Report Card for a particular student, you will be able to see summaries of their individual activity and performance (including Activity, Assignments, Adaptive Progress, and Standards).
Activity: Shows the student's activity in different practice modes (you can view all modes at once or select specific modes in the Practice Mode drop-down list). The information shown includes the time activities were completed, the type and content level of each, the length of time spent practicing, the number of questions they answered and their accuracy percentage. Selecting the arrow to the right of the accuracy percentage will show you the questions, the correct answers, and the student's answers.
Assignments: Shows the student's assignment activity. The information shown includes the dates the assignments were assigned and completed, the type and title of the assignment, the length of time spent on the assignment, the number of questions they answered and their accuracy percentage. Selecting the arrow to the right of the accuracy percentage will show you the questions, the correct answers, and the student's answers.
Adaptive Progress: Displays student data in two different ways: at the top of the page is a graph showing the student's Adaptive ELA progress; the key at the bottom lists the latest standards the student worked on in each domain.
Below the graph is a table with focused data for each domain: its name, the student's starting and current level (if the student has performed work in the domain), the number of questions the student answered that are part of that domain, and whether their current level is above ↑ or below ↓ their starting level, with a number indicating how many levels of change the student has undergone.
Standards: Shows the standards the student has worked on (you can view standards for all grade levels and courses at once or select specific grade levels/courses in the View Standards For drop-down list). Each standard shows the number of questions the student has answered relating to the standard, their last practice date, and their accuracy. Select the arrow to the right of the accuracy percentage to see more information about the questions and the student's answers.
Student Goal Setting
You will see your student list with the goal each student has set for the week, and a red bar on the right that displays the student's progress towards their goal.
