On Freckle, students can independently practice within a Math or ELA domain. Alternatively, teachers can assign students targeted practice on particular content or skills.
Our content was created by classroom teachers, who carefully considered scaffolds and learning progressions and have a strong understanding of standards-based assessments. We offer options for teachers in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. Teachers can choose from a number of systems with which to display standards, domains and skills for practice, and can find this option in the Settings section of their account profile.
Check with your local guidelines and Freckle/Renaissance team to identify the best system for your classroom.
Teachers can see student performance in relation to state standards (in both Math and ELA) by using the following reports:
- The Performance by Standard Report shows a class-level view of performance by standard by domain.
- The Standards tab of the Report Cards shows a student-level view of performance accuracy by domain.
